Rainy River Fun Fly 2008

On July 19 and 20 the Rainy River Internationals held their fun fly at the field in Rainy River Ontario. This was the second time I have made the trip down, but the first time was 15 years ago, but just as I remembered, the hospitality was great. There was a wide selection of different models, from low tech foamie electrics and coro combat planes, to full on aerobatic competition ready 33% and 40% monsters complete with smoke systems.
There was also a great collection of War Birds, Mustang's, Corsair's, Harvard's and so on. The pilots of these big scale planes got together and all flew a formation flight. Great to see all those planes in the air together, and the sound was great too.
